TOD David Street School Logo - the tree

Today we had our first teacher only day for the year at David Street School.  We spent a chunk of time discussing our school logo - the learning tree which was so beneficial for me as I haven't had a chance to really discuss this before and find out what each of the parts of the tree represents.  Below are the ideas that I recorded alongside with a colleague who was looking at the logo for the first time as well.

The hope was that as teachers we can share this with our students and help them to understand what the logo represents and where they fit into the logo.  Also to create a visual display in our rooms that links each of our students to the tree.
